Location: Bogota, Colombia; territorial scope includes Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile.

What you will do
- Execute the Property & Casualty facultative underwriting strategy for the Andean Region.
- Originate, structure, negotiate, and underwrite profitable facultative transactions.
- Evaluate risk exposures, pricing adequacy, contract structures, capacity deployment, and underwriting conditions.
- Build strategic relationships with brokers, cedents, clients, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance, market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks.
- Mentor junior underwriters and collaborate with regional, global, legal, and cross-functional experts.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Property reinsurance or insurance underwriting.
- Strong facultative underwriting experience in Property; Casualty experience is a plus.
- Proven success originating and closing new business opportunities.
- Deep understanding of underwriting, pricing, contract structures, and portfolio management.
- Knowledge of Andean insurance and reinsurance markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
