TL;DR
Audio DSP Engineer (Automotive): Developing, integrating, debugging, tuning, and validating audio algorithms for embedded automotive infotainment platforms with an accent on voice communication, speech processing, and hardware integration. Focus on implementing audio processing stacks, solving echo cancellation and beamforming challenges, and validating production audio performance.
Location: On site in Palo Alto, California, United States, at least 3 days per week
Salary: $110 per hour

What you will do
- Develop and optimize the audio processing stack for embedded production platforms.
- Develop and integrate voice communication and voice recognition solutions for infotainment systems.
- Integrate audio processing with vehicle hardware.
- Debug, tune, test, and validate audio algorithms and maintain high audio-stack quality.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, DSP, and QA engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in audio DSP engineering.
- Deep knowledge of audio DSP and experience with speech and microphone-array signal processing algorithms.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, MATLAB, and Audio Weaver.
- Automotive or infotainment audio experience.
- Knowledge of echo cancellation, beamforming, noise reduction, and voice activity detection.
- Experience with acoustic measurement, tuning, validation tools, and ALSA/Linux audio architecture.
