TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (Google Cloud Platform): Designing, automating, and continuously improving cloud platform capabilities on GCP for data and engineering teams with an accent on Kubernetes, Terraform, security, and reliability. Focus on building reusable self-service components, enabling CI/CD and GitOps delivery, and solving complex platform challenges across enterprise engineering environments.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid working model.

What you will do
- Design, build, and improve platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform.
- Work hands-on with GKE, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads.
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and contribute to CI/CD and GitOps delivery.
- Implement and improve GCP networking, IAM, security, monitoring, logging, observability, and operational reliability.
- Build reusable platform components and self-service capabilities for data and engineering teams.
- Partner with architects, security specialists, data engineers, and development teams while supporting workload onboarding.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps.
- Several years of hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GKE and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automated software or infrastructure delivery.
- Experience with cloud foundations or landing zones, IAM, Workload Identity, networking, and cloud security.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and shared platforms supporting multiple engineering teams.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently and take technical ownership.
Nice to have
- Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Apache Beam, data ingestion, or streaming platforms.
- Experience with GitOps, Helm, Backstage, Internal Developer Platforms, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments involving GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Experience with regulated or security-sensitive enterprise platforms and developer self-service.
