Senior Marketing Manager (Aviation)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; willingness to travel across Europe required

What you will do

• Define the brand strategy and translate it into guidelines for marketing materials, sales channels, customer touchpoints, and the customer journey.
• Develop marketing strategies and budgets for existing and new markets across the network.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, price promotions, social media strategy, sponsorship events, and local market initiatives.
• Manage media and creative agencies, airports, tourism offices, and other local partners.
• Lead, inspire, and allocate work across the marketing team while coordinating with commercial teams.
• Control marketing and brand development costs and build a high-performing marketing department.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in marketing and communications, including at least 3 years in comparable marketing roles.
• Experience in strategy, brand management, communications, complex projects, and multi-country operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data-informed decision-making.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in aviation or another customer-focused, fast-paced, high-profile, regulated industry.
