Senior Engineering Manager, Surgical Vision Capital Projects (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead supply chain and capital projects that add manufacturing capacity, enable new product delivery, and introduce significant technologies.
• Plan, procure, install, and qualify manufacturing equipment with R&D, procurement, finance, legal, supply chain, facilities, engineering, and quality teams.
• Manage project reporting, capital budgets, strategic planning, cash flow targets, risks, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive technology application, equipment upgrades, optimization, and innovative change across manufacturing sites.
• Lead and develop approximately ten Project Leads, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and constructive feedback.
• Promote an inclusive and safety-focused culture across the team and wider organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
• At least 8 years of industry experience in an engineering environment.
• At least 3 years of technical project management experience.
• English fluency is required.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience managing engineering projects in FDA- or health-agency-regulated environments.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Strong financial acumen, with an MBA or equivalent experience.
• Experience building significant cross-functional partnerships.
• Spanish fluency.
