What you will do

• Build detailed 3D environments and set pieces for high-end animated productions.
• Translate direction from the Production Designer into environment builds and models.
• Collaborate with Development Artists and the Layout Department.
• Apply strong form, scale, proportion, and aesthetic judgment to create appealing environments.
• Anticipate and communicate model performance issues.
• Follow animation production pipeline protocols and adapt to changing briefs.

Requirements

• Production experience as an Environment Modeller on high-level animated content.
• Degree in Computer Animation or a relevant course.
• Experience with traditional sculpting techniques using digital tools such as Maya or ZBrush.
• Strong communication skills in a large team and production pipeline.
• Strong sense of form, scale, and proportion.
• Meticulous, motivated, team-oriented, resourceful, and able to learn in-house workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine or other real-time rendering software.
