Lead Product Designer, AI Builder (all genders)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with time in the office and remote work

What you will do

• Lead product design across discovery and delivery, owning key decisions for AI-first language learning experiences.
• Design AI-powered interactions including conversation, voice, and clear, trustworthy feedback.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping, and delivery.
• Build vision and delivery-ready prototypes in SwiftUI and HTML/CSS/JS.
• Coach and mentor an experienced design team and establish shared AI-first design principles.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, linguists, and language learning specialists.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading product design and shipping products adopted by users.
• Strong UI craft and motion design skills.
• Hands-on prototyping experience with SwiftUI and HTML/CSS/JS.
• Practical fluency with AI tools such as Claude Code.
• Working knowledge of design systems and experience coaching designers.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working through ambiguity and rapid iteration.
