Senior Data Analyst (Microsoft Fabric)

Location: Predominantly remote within the UK, with occasional travel to the organisation's Central London office and other UK locations

Salary: £47,500–£50,000 per annum

What you will do

• Shape and deliver the organisation's data and analytics roadmap.
• Gather requirements from business teams and translate challenges into practical data solutions.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and advanced DAX solutions.
• Develop data solutions in Microsoft Fabric and improve data collection, integration, transformation, and availability.
• Improve data quality, governance, security, lineage, ownership, and reporting standards.
• Work with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Microsoft 365, Azure, and external platforms while communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Data Analyst, Data Strategist, BI Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data modelling, DAX, and data visualisation.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Dynamics 365, data architecture, semantic models, data quality, and data lineage.
• Experience delivering data solutions from requirements through to reporting and insight, including integration across Microsoft and third-party platforms.
• Experience monitoring or managing Microsoft Fabric capacity and associated costs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, requirements-gathering, and prioritisation skills.

Nice to have

• Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, or Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• Experience with R, RStudio, Microsoft Customer Voice, Agile delivery, or charity-sector work.
• Knowledge of Dataverse and Power Platform governance, architecture, security, GDPR, and data protection.
• Experience delivering workshops or training to users and stakeholders.
