Team Lead of Content Department (Trader)

Location: Remote, Almaty, Kazakhstan; flexible schedule

What you will do

• Manage the daily work of a nine-person content department, including priorities, quality checks, deadlines, and KPI delivery.
• Develop copywriters through regular one-on-ones, team meetings, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Set and improve content standards and processes across articles, client blogs, Reddit strategies, video scripts, and AI-generated YouTube videos.
• Review and approve content, while writing or editing a limited amount yourself.
• Help shape the department as it grows, including potential subgroup structures and new content services.
• Collaborate with the Product Delivery Director on strategy, priorities, and cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

• Current active trading experience with a personal account in Forex, crypto, or stocks, including practical knowledge of orders, leverage, risk, and daily market activity.
• Experience in copywriting or content management, with the ability to evaluate articles, reviews, Reddit comments, and video scripts.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including search intent, keyword research, on-page optimization, and SERP reputation management.
• Experience leading a team of specialists and providing direct, regular feedback.
• Comfortable using AI tools while maintaining original and unique content.
• Advanced English (C1+) and advanced or native Russian are required.

Nice to have

• Copywriting or SEO experience in trading or FinTech.
• Knowledge of YMYL, E-E-A-T, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, YouTube ranking, review platforms, and Reddit.
• Strategic experience designing new services and contributing to company-level decisions.
