What you will do
- Act as the primary HR partner for the local Managing Director and senior business leaders across Finance, HR, Customer Service, Global Accounting, and other functions.
- Drive performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, organizational design, and other key HR cycles.
- Lead and support change management initiatives while maintaining business continuity and employee engagement.
- Own local HR operations, including employment contracts, payroll interfaces, statutory compliance, and HR administration.
- Coordinate local People Operations and represent Bulgaria and Accounting in international HR forums and projects.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of HR experience, including 5 years in a Senior HR Manager role.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Bulgarian labour law, employment regulations, and local HR practices.
- Generalist HRBP experience across multiple business functions and geographies.
- Experience with payroll interfaces, contract management, compliance, local HR administration, performance management, talent development, organizational design, compensation, disciplinary matters, and change management.
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to work autonomously in a standalone country setup.
- Fluent Bulgarian and English required.
Nice to have
- Experience coordinating or leading People Operations.
- German language skills.
