Field Service Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; approximately 75% field-based with frequent travel within the assigned territory and occasional short-notice travel.

What you will do

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for Biosense Webster medical devices.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment in assigned healthcare environments.
• Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and respond to urgent service requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate work orders, service records, and equipment documentation.
• Manage spare parts, inventory, equipment returns, audits, and service management activities.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, and hospital stakeholders while supporting training and mentoring for junior engineers.

Requirements

• Associate's degree plus 2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment, hospital engineering, medical devices, field service, or a related technical discipline, or a bachelor's degree in biomedical, electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in office and field environments and travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle; compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrophysiology, cardiology, or medical device technologies.
• Experience in hospital biomedical engineering or healthcare technical support.
• Familiarity with service management systems and diagnostic test equipment.
