Business Analyst (Digital Payments)

Location: Hybrid role based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with office attendance required three days per week. More frequent office attendance may be expected during the first few months for onboarding and team integration.

Salary: €4,000–€5,400 gross per month for employees in Lithuania, with flexibility depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead and support initiatives covering digital settlement processes, wallet integrations, reconciliation capabilities, and payment ecosystem enhancements.
• Analyze end-to-end settlement and reconciliation flows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, process documentation, use cases, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to onboard digital wallets, payment providers, banking partners, and settlement solutions.
• Participate in solution design, test case creation, testing, defect management, implementation, and production validation.
• Monitor settlement performance, investigate reconciliation breaks and payment exceptions, and support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis, payment operations, settlement operations, financial services, fintech, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, digital wallets, settlement, reconciliation, and the movement of funds within financial ecosystems.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, accounting entries, reconciliations, and settlement reporting.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English required; regular office work in Vilnius, Lithuania is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital wallet integrations, payment gateways, card schemes, banking integrations, or cross-border payments.
• Exposure to reconciliation platforms, settlement engines, ERP systems, or financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of payment industry standards and financial services operations.
• Experience with transformation, modernization, or system enhancement programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
