TL;DR
NetSuite Developer (Finance Systems) (NetSuite/SuiteScript): Building and maintaining finance-system integrations, customisations, workflows, analytics, and dashboards with an accent on platform health, automation, and scalable finance operations. Focus on designing REST/SOAP integrations, troubleshooting NetSuite performance, deploying maintainable solutions, and evaluating AI capabilities across NetSuite and EPM tools.
Location: Auckland, New Zealand; office-first and on-site by default

What you will do
- Build and maintain NetSuite integrations, SuiteScript customisations, SuiteFlow workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards.
- Monitor platform performance and health with APM, proactively resolving issues before they affect the business.
- Document builds and configuration decisions to keep the finance systems maintainable and share knowledge.
- Partner with accounting, FP&A, and Finance Systems to shape practical technical solutions.
- Track new capabilities across NetSuite and the selected EPM tool, including AI and agentic features.
- Contribute to platform upgrades, system initiatives, and finance systems work supporting new market entry.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
- Strong SuiteScript 2.x skills.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations with REST and SOAP web services and RESTlets.
- Solid experience with SuiteFlow and SuiteAnalytics, including workflows, saved searches, reporting, and dashboards.
- Experience owning work from development and testing through deployment and ongoing support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with or interest in NetSuite native AI and agentic capabilities.
- Exposure to EPM or planning tools.
- Accounting or finance experience or genuine interest in the field.
- Experience with system implementations, UAT, structured project work, or SuiteCloud Development Framework.
