Logistics Officer (Robotics)

Location: Botany, Australia; onsite at the manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Own outbound shipping for high-value electronics, from picking and packing through delivery.
• Manage inbound receiving and quality checks for electronics, mechanical, and optical components.
• Maintain raw material, finished goods, and sales stock accuracy, availability, and traceability.
• Manage freight, customs, and trade compliance for inbound and outbound navigation hardware shipments.
• Investigate shipping errors, returns, delivery issues, inventory discrepancies, and damaged goods.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, freight carriers, customs brokers, revenue operations, and junior logistics staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management, including raw material inventory in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with inventory accuracy processes, cycle counting, root cause analysis, stock reconciliation, and ERP/MRP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Experience managing high-value stock and preparing accurate, carefully packaged customer shipments.
• Experience resolving import and export clearance queries with the Australian Border Force, customs brokers, or freight forwarders.
• Ability to obtain a forklift licence and strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse equipment calibration and maintenance.

Nice to have

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, or Inventory Management.
• Trade or other practical qualification.
• Dangerous Goods shipping certification such as IATA or IMDG.
• Knowledge of HS/HTS classification, Incoterms, and export controls for high-value or dual-use hardware.
