Node.js Back-End Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend APIs with TypeScript and Node.js using secure, clean coding practices.
• Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve backend issues while taking on increasingly complex technical challenges.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and apply OWASP security practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, frontend engineers, and DevOps colleagues in multidisciplinary teams.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Codex in daily development, code reviews, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with a relational or NoSQL database such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Familiarity with Docker and some experience with a cloud platform, ideally AWS.
• Basic knowledge of authentication concepts such as OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Awareness of OWASP security practices, testing, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and strong debugging and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English communication required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kubernetes.
• Interest in or exposure to messaging systems such as SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Motivation to deepen cloud and backend expertise.
