Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Assess and monitor cybersecurity risks across the technology environment.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance initiatives aligned with industry standards and business objectives.
• Review vulnerability assessments, penetration testing results, audits, and security assessments.
• Track remediation efforts, including plans of action and milestones.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and business partners for security risks.
• Prepare risk assessments, findings, and recommendations while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk, GRC, vulnerability management, or security assessments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity, continuous learning, and a proactive approach to improving security practices.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with NIST, ISO, SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, or GLBA.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GSEC, or similar certifications.
