Software Engineer III, Information Security (Python/Azure)

Location: 805 SE Moberly Ln., Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite role.

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Provide advanced support for enterprise security services by troubleshooting issues and maintaining code and configurations with version control.
• Analyze systems and business processes to design and implement security solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including writing, testing, debugging, and installing software and scripts.
• Monitor system performance, alerts, and reliability; identify problems and coordinate resolutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders through technical presentations, documentation, and continuous improvements to security applications and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 3 years of information technology experience within the past 7 years; alternatively, 5 years of relevant experience or a related master’s degree.
• Expertise in software engineering focused on information security, intrusion detection, and intrusion prevention.
• Proficiency in Python programming and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and continuous delivery practices.
• Ability to lead technical design, testing, and debugging of complex programs and scripts.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, version control, and change management skills.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCED, GCIA, CSSLP, CISA, or Security+.
• Experience with mainframe technologies, Java, C/C++, .NET, Rexx, Cobol, PowerShell, SAP, Subversion, Git, or other version control systems.
• Project or team leadership experience and SQL knowledge with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
