Fullstack Software Engineer (MarTech)

Location: Primary residence required in or near an approved city in the United States, Canada, or Mexico; occasional in-person attendance is required.

Salary: $132,500–$184,000 in California and $103,000–$175,000 in the United States outside California. Canadian salary range is listed with incomplete placeholder values.

What you will do

• Build performant self-service tools that enable marketers and partner teams to work independently.
• Develop and maintain integrations that exchange customer and event data with lifecycle marketing and other third-party platforms.
• Design, build, and scale experimentation infrastructure, acquisition tracking, and attribution systems.
• Ensure scalability, testability, reliability, and maintainability across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with marketers, data analysts, lifecycle teams, product managers, and Growth engineering teams.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, best-practice implementation, and proactive technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, architectural tradeoffs, and API design and consumption.
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, personalization systems, and the MarTech landscape.
• Primary residence in or near an approved United States, Canadian, or Mexican city is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with event tracking, data pipelines, or synchronizing user data between internal and third-party systems.
• Experience in Growth Engineering or a Growth Platform team at a product-led company.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, MySQL, Terraform, GraphQL, or Next.js.
• Experience migrating monolithic architectures to microservices or microfrontends.
