Analog IC Layout Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop analog and mixed-signal layout blocks from schematic through tape-out.
• Support floorplanning, physical implementation, and top-level integration.
• Optimize layouts for performance, matching, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Run DRC, LVS, ERC, physical verification, parasitic extraction, and post-layout analysis.
• Participate in design reviews, sign-off activities, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of layout methodologies.
• Collaborate with Analog Design, Verification, Package, Test, and Product Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of analog IC layout methodologies and experience with Cadence Virtuoso Layout.
• Understanding of DRC/LVS verification concepts and familiarity with Linux environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in multicultural and international teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Calibre, PVS, or equivalent verification tools.
• Knowledge of CMOS, BCD, high-voltage technologies, and analog mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Basic scripting skills in SKILL, Python, TCL, or Shell.
• Experience in automotive semiconductor development.
• Interest in layout automation and methodology improvements.
