Senior Director, Integrated Solutions - E&O Leader (Bioprocessing)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Estimated base salary: $210,000–$300,000 per year, plus eligibility for variable cash compensation and equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Lead solution architecture, process design, third-party interface requirements, automation standards, and proposal templates.
• Direct proposal development and responses to customer requests for proposal in partnership with the commercial team.
• Oversee complex customer projects from pre-sale solution development through delivery, commissioning, qualification, and closeout.
• Manage project scope, risks, resources, governance, quality, budget, timelines, and customer expectations.
• Build strategic partnerships with engineering firms, system integrators, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop organizational capability, manage the project portfolio, and translate market and customer insights into input for R&D and Product Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry.
• Substantial experience with process engineering, GMP manufacturing, scale-up, commissioning, qualification, validation, and global project execution.
• At least 7 years leading complex capital, bioprocessing, manufacturing, or engineered-system projects from proposal development through customer handover.
• Progressive leadership experience with accountability for customer delivery, financial performance, cross-functional alignment, and organizational performance.
• At least 5 years of people leadership experience, including talent development, succession planning, and building organizational capability.
