Director of Regional Security, LATAM

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing factory in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León, Mexico, supporting facilities in Monterrey, Mexico City, and Brazil. This is not a remote position.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the regional security team across LATAM.
• Manage daily security operations, budgets, KPIs, compliance, audits, and global standards.
• Oversee outsourced security providers, vendors, security systems, and infrastructure.
• Lead risk assessments, business impact analyses, security projects, installations, and site expansions.
• Direct investigations involving theft, fraud, and loss prevention in collaboration with Legal, People Operations & Development, site leadership, and external authorities.
• Lead crisis preparedness, emergency response, business continuity, executive protection, event security, travel security, and specialized security assessments.

Requirements

• People leadership experience in a corporate security environment, preferably supporting manufacturing or operational sites.
• Experience working in international and multicultural organizations.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, designing security solutions, and leading crisis management and emergency response programs.
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems; Genetec experience is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing outsourced security contracts and service providers.
• Project management and digital transformation experience.
• Experience supporting construction or site expansion projects.
• Knowledge of supply chain security regulations and customs security programs such as CTPAT.
