Information Security Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive background verifications and coordinate information collection from former employers, educational institutions, and verification providers.
• Analyze verification reports, identify discrepancies, red flags, vulnerabilities, and business security risks.
• Monitor and assess security threats, investigate incidents, and support emergency response activities.
• Implement internal security policies, support regulatory compliance, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Prepare investigation reports, communicate findings to decision-makers, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Maintain background verification databases, generate periodic reports, and improve investigation workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Law, Criminalistics, or Strategic Intelligence.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience.
• Advanced English and Spanish are required.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Teamwork, collaboration, and adaptability in critical situations.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely.
