Compliance and Commercial Analyst

Location: Office-based role in Christchurch, New Zealand; occasional work outside standard office hours may be required to connect with colleagues in different time zones.

What you will do

• Complete SOX quote-to-cash analysis, reconciliations, and reporting across licences sold, fulfilled, and invoiced.
• Support the Pricing Committee with commercial analysis, decision records, and verification of Salesforce pricing configurations.
• Monitor quote-to-cash and IT general controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Manage customer and transaction reviews for sanctions and export control risks, coordinating group requirements with Bentley Systems.
• Develop practical education and resources covering SOX, sanctions, export control, and OFAC policies and procedures.
• Analyse financial and operational data for trends, forecasts, budgets, pricing reviews, strategic projects, and major renewal cases.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in related roles, including compliance and commercial analysis.
• Strong strategic and critical thinking skills, including financial target and trend analysis, budgeting support, and compliance monitoring.
• Exceptional quantitative capability, advanced Excel proficiency, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced, complex environment while following processes and procedures diligently.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and prepare clear reports and presentations.

• Knowledge of software sales processes, CRM, licensing, and financial systems.
