Sustainability System and Process Specialist - Fixed Term 2 years (Sustainability/Data): Supporting sustainability programmes, emissions reduction initiatives, disclosures, and reporting while managing Workiva and related data systems with an accent on data quality, process improvement, and sustainability reporting. Focus on improving workflows through technology, automation, and AI, translating complex information into clear insights, and supporting climate, human rights, and nature-related action.
Location: Christchurch or Wellington, New Zealand

What you will do
- Support sustainability processes and programmes, including the Emission Reduction Plan and supplier emissions reduction work.
- Support sustainability reporting and disclosures by bringing together information from across the business.
- Manage and maintain sustainability systems, including Workiva, and keep data accurate and up to date.
- Develop and lead improvements to sustainability systems and processes.
- Improve ways of working through technology, automation, and AI.
Requirements
- Confidence working with data and systems, with the ability to learn new tools and technology quickly.
- Strong analytical skills, including Excel, and the ability to identify insights and explain the story behind the data.
- Genuine interest in sustainability and motivation to build a career in the field.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work across the business and make complex information easy to understand.
- Early-career sustainability professionals will be considered.
