Software Development Engineer (ML), EU International Technologies

What you will do

• Design and implement features for software components powering hirify.global's product search system.
• Build and deploy scalable pipelines for data processing, model training, and model inference.
• Integrate machine learning models into production search services and optimize their performance for millisecond response times.
• Configure metrics, dashboards, and alerting for deployed services and models.
• Collaborate with machine learning experts, scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to identify improvements and resolve technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience building large-scale data processing and machine learning training or inference pipelines.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills in Python, Java, C++, or another modern programming language.
• Understanding of essential machine learning concepts and experience with the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, build processes, testing, and deployment.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in computer science or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, EMR, or DynamoDB.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers.
• Experience with NLP applications or search and retrieval engines.
• Fluency in one or more languages other than English.
