Application Advisor - Beaker (Epic)

Location: US - National; travel up to 5%; on-call rotations may include nights and weekends.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, troubleshoot, and optimize Epic Beaker EHR applications.
• Analyze customer issues and system requests across integrated applications, translating needs into requirements and tested configurations.
• Lead workflow analysis, system audits, upgrades, change control, and impact assessment.
• Manage multiple complex customer engagements, projects, tickets, documentation, escalations, and service-level commitments.
• Guide customer communication and change management while supporting IT and operational stakeholders.
• Mentor team members, document customer processes, and support onboarding.

Requirements

• Active Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) certification is required.
• At least 3 years of direct Beaker experience with moderate application functionality knowledge.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical problem-solving, communication, organization, judgment, and customer-service skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems, change management, Microsoft Office, and independent and collaborative work.
• Ability to work on-call outside core business hours and travel up to 5%.

Nice to have

• Active Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) certification.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Previous management, project management, or systems implementation experience.
