Machine Learning Engineer (Governance ML Platform)

Location: Remote EMEA; 100% remote

What you will do

• Build and own ML infrastructure for governance models, including low-latency serving, evaluation pipelines, and model registries.
• Optimize production inference to under 50ms using quantization and distillation.
• Develop drift monitoring, shadow deployments, telemetry-to-training pipelines, and continuous retraining workflows.
• Build red-team harnesses with attack orchestration, scorecards, regression suites, and CI gating.
• Curate datasets from audit trails and implement gated automatic model rollouts.
• Contribute to AI agent infrastructure based on PostgreSQL, including governance, trust controls, and enterprise-grade retrieval.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of professional machine learning software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based or agentic systems and production ML serving.
• Experience with low-latency inference, quantization, distillation, evaluation pipelines, and model registries.
• Experience building red-team or adversarial testing harnesses with CI-gated regression suites.
• Experience with drift monitoring and shadow deployments.
• Fluency in SQL and PostgreSQL, plus experience working in audited environments with a security-first mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience building auto-retraining loops from production telemetry or audit data.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol, tool registries, and agent orchestration patterns.
• PostgreSQL extension development in C or Rust, or contributions to the PostgreSQL ecosystem.
