Lead Game Designer (Unreal)

Location: Yerevan, Armenia; Workplace: Hybrid

Game co-development company delivering AAA titles in collaboration with global publishers as part of Keywords Studios.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Game Director and Game Design team on design decisions for a large AAA first-person shooter.
• Own, communicate, and drive the vision for major design initiatives, new features, and design overhauls.
• Lead brainstorming and playtest sessions, contributing to prototyping, game balancing, and gameplay tuning.
• Work with engineers, artists, and producers to design, tune, and implement gameplay directions.
• Analyze internal and external metrics and feedback to adjust design and game balance.
• Lead complex and impactful game design aspects with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• Experience in game design for first- or third-person shooter games.
• Full-cycle, multidisciplinary development experience with at least one shipped title as a game designer.
• Knowledge of 3D level and game design tools and editors, primarily Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong creative, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and software.
• Proficiency in English for verbal, written, and technical communication.
