What you will do

• Conduct participatory system mapping through stakeholder and patient and public involvement workshops.
• Map cardiometabolic care pathways, gaps, intersectional inequalities, and barriers and facilitators to implementing a cardiometabolic care bundle.
• Identify key actors required for successful project implementation and collaborate across Manchester, Sheffield Hallam, Newcastle, and Birmingham.
• Build on digital referral systems for the postnatal period following gestational diabetes diagnosis.
• Explore drivers of cardiometabolic inequalities and barriers to evidence-based behavioural interventions.
• Contribute to digital prototype research for postnatal home blood pressure monitoring.

Requirements

• PhD, or imminent completion of a PhD, in behavioural science, implementation science, or a related health field.
• Experience in intervention development and/or implementation science research.
• Experience conducting qualitative research, including co-production or participatory approaches.
• Experience engaging actively with community groups and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams across institutions and maintain relationships with colleagues and healthcare professionals.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in patient and public involvement and engagement in research.
• Experience conducting research in NHS settings.
• Experience in maternity-related or cardiometabolic health research.
