Senior AI Developer

What you will do

• Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning and AI solutions across the full development lifecycle.
• Translate defined requirements into working data science and AI components.
• Apply machine learning techniques to analyse complex datasets and solve business problems.
• Build and test production models and contribute to scalable MLOps pipelines, observability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with clients, data scientists, engineers, and consultants, communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Apply responsible AI principles, support governance and compliance, and mentor junior data scientists and engineers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and C#.
• Experience with cloud AI services such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI.
• Hands-on experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, k-means, anomaly detection, time series forecasting, model evaluation, and explainability.
• Experience with end-to-end AI observability and monitoring, and with large, complex, or messy datasets.
• Understanding of public-sector data, regulations, compliance requirements, and organisational challenges; must be eligible for Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL or R.
