Product Engineer, Finance (AI)

What you will do

• Work closely with global Finance teams to identify and prioritize high-impact technology use cases.
• Define and own the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for the Finance function.
• Design the target Finance systems landscape and deliver solutions from prototype through production.
• Build reusable technical patterns and building blocks for wider adoption.
• Lead change management and upskilling initiatives for new tools and workflows.
• Measure and communicate outcomes while maintaining accountability for delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or forward-deployed engineering experience.
• Strong product sense, with the ability to connect engineering decisions to user experience and business impact.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and translate high-level direction into technical specifications.
• Pragmatic, resourceful problem-solving approach focused on delivering outcomes.
• Clear communication skills for discussing technical trade-offs with infrastructure teams and presenting outcomes to executive stakeholders.
• Full end-to-end technical and product ownership, including defining the product direction and building the implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience with finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Hands-on experience with automation, ML-based reconciliation, workflow platforms, Generative AI, LLMs, or automated agent workflows.
• Knowledge of data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Experience in fintech, payments, multi-currency ledgering, or regulated financial systems.
• Background in management consulting, systems integration, digital transformation, or as a founder, founding engineer, or early employee.
