TL;DR
Sr. HR Generalist (HR Operations/Life Sciences): Resolving complex Human Resources cases and supporting employee lifecycle processes across the Life Sciences organization with an accent on policy interpretation, HRIS case management, and operational compliance. Focus on analyzing recurring issues, improving HR service delivery processes, and standardizing employee support across the assigned geography.
Location: Preferred onsite in Heerbrugg, Switzerland; candidates in the Zurich area may be considered for a remote setup if they live within approximately one hour commuting distance of the Heerbrugg office.

What you will do
- Resolve complex Human Resources cases involving employee lifecycle transactions, policy interpretation, time and attendance, benefits, and related inquiries.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and people leaders to support local activities and operational continuity.
- Support performance management administration, documentation requirements, Human Resources processes, and assigned talent acquisition activities.
- Document case activities and maintain accurate HR system records for compliance, auditability, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to process standardization, simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources operations, shared services, employee relations support, or an HR generalist or specialist discipline.
- Experience independently managing complex Human Resources cases within established policies and procedures.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, case management systems, and related business applications.
- Experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting compensation or hiring during recruitment processes.
- Experience in a shared services or case management environment.
- Experience with process standardization, automation, continuous improvement, and adoption of enhancements across an HR operating model.
