SAP Infrastructure and Hosting Specialist (SAP/AWS)

Location: Madrid, Spain; relocation to Madrid is necessary. Up to 20% travel, primarily to Brussels.

What you will do

• Support the expansion of the SAP/AWS landscape for more than 700 additional properties.
• Execute SAP migrations, S/4 upgrades, archiving initiatives, and cloud improvements with engineering teams and external partners.
• Operate and improve SAP systems including S/4, BW, PO, ABAP, and HANA environments.
• Automate monitoring, reporting, deployments, and other operational tasks while enhancing observability.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks across application, database, integration, and infrastructure layers.
• Validate production changes, manage capacity and data volumes, and provide technical input to director and vice-president-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of SAP Basis experience in complex enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience with hyperscaler environments, with AWS preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA administration, SAP Basis/NetWeaver architecture, upgrades, migrations, and technical transformation projects.
• Experience with SAP performance analysis, troubleshooting, optimization, security concepts, authorizations, and ABAP runtime behavior.
• Professional English proficiency, spoken and written, is required.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to have

• SAP Fiori, SAP PO, SAP BTP/CPI, or SAP ASE experience.
• Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, data volume management, archiving, and housekeeping strategies.
• Hospitality industry experience and relevant SAP or cloud certifications.
