Senior Accountant / Deputy Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Lillebonne, France. Hybrid arrangement with the possibility of working remotely up to one day per week.

Annual salary: €47,000–€64,000. Full-time permanent contract.

hirify.global is a global specialty chemicals and performance materials company operating a carbon black manufacturing plant in Port Jérôme, Normandy.

What you will do

• Participate in accounting activities for Cabot France and the Port Jérôme industrial entity.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Prepare statutory accounts, tax and customs declarations, VAT returns, and financial report appendices.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, French regulations, and SOX internal control requirements.
• Contribute to annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial planning with operational teams.
• Back up the Site Finance Manager and support finance process digitalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a DSCG qualification is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial audit, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting standards, taxation, statutory reporting, and US GAAP deferred taxes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
