Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, North Holland; Thursday is the office day.

Salary: Negotiable EUR per year.

What you will do

• Help shape an AI-driven frontend development flow during a time-sensitive pilot.
• Build and maintain Web Components and core libraries used across the bank.
• Develop and support frontend pipelines implemented as deployment-as-code for a micro-frontend architecture.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, the platform roadmap, and collaboration with engineers from other teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong frontend focus.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge, including the language's underlying mechanics.
• Hands-on experience building Web Components.
• Experience with Node, build tooling such as Webpack or Rollup, and CI/CD; Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Availability to start within one month and work from the Amsterdam office on Thursdays.

• Hands-on experience applying AI in software development.
