Finance Transformation & Project Support Associate (18 Months Contract)

What you will do

• Support the decommissioning of an existing finance sub-ledger and transition to a new system landscape.
• Perform reconciliations between legacy and target systems and investigate differences with finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Support report redesign, rebuilding, user acceptance testing, system testing, and data validation.
• Document new processes, controls, operating procedures, training materials, project updates, and decision logs.
• Provide BAU finance support, including quarterly close, reporting, reconciliations, analysis, audit requests, and regulatory reporting.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, reporting, finance operations, systems implementation, or transformation projects.
• Experience with financial data, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with finance systems and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, learn new systems quickly, and identify and resolve issues proactively.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting testing, system migrations, or process improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to insurance, reinsurance, banking, or financial services.
• Experience with ERP, finance sub-ledger, reporting, or data transformation projects.
• Familiarity with process documentation and control frameworks.
