What you will do

• Support the development, implementation, management, and compliance oversight of clinical research protocols.
• Coordinate participant care, screening, recruitment, retention, informed consent, appointments, testing, and clinical sample handling.
• Collaborate with principal investigators, physicians, interdisciplinary teams, participating sites, and referral sources.
• Monitor adverse events, protocol endpoints, patient safety, research misconduct risks, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage clinical trial documentation, source documents, case report forms, data capture, reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Develop standards of practice, process improvements, education materials, and interventions to improve trial quality and patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of an R.N. degree.
• Active nursing licensure in any U.S. state.
• Ability to be credentialed by the NIH Clinical Center.
• Knowledge of infection control, isolation and aseptic techniques, patient privacy, medical records security, and environmental safety.
• Knowledge of federal clinical research regulations and Good Clinical Practice.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively; computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Successful completion of background and drug screening.
