E3D Model Lead & PDMS Administrator (AVEVA): Developing and administering AVEVA E3D plant models and project databases for oil and gas engineering projects with an accent on multidisciplinary coordination, model validation, and constructible design. Focus on configuring E3D workflows, resolving clashes, processing laser-scan point clouds, and producing accurate engineering deliverables under tight project schedules.

hirify.global is recruiting for an E&P client operating in the energy and industrial engineering sector.

What you will do

  • Set up and administer AVEVA E3D databases for the project portfolio management organisation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D plant models for piping, equipment, structural steel, supports, platforms, ladders, and related plant components.
  • Interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, piping specifications, line lists, plot plans, datasheets, and vendor information to create practical and constructible models.
  • Perform model reviews, clash detection, validation, design checks, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Produce and update piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, orthographic views, plot plans, material take-offs, and Navisworks viewing models.
  • Support project teams with model corrections, workflow improvements, quality assurance, technical reviews, and database integrity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AVEVA E3D/PDMS modelling and administration, including at least 3 years as an AVEVA PDMS/E3D key user.
  • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D and 3D CAD, point-cloud processing, model validation, and laser-scan-to-model workflows.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks and familiarity with AVEVA E3D Draw, Iso-draft, Paragon, Administration, and Lexicon modules.
  • Experience modelling piping, structural, and electrical designs and setting up multidisciplinary support systems, projects, and databases in AVEVA E3D.
  • Experience in oil and gas EPC projects or other industrial facilities, with knowledge of plant design, constructability, operability, maintainability, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Applicants must be Nigerian nationals.
