Director Medical Spain (Dermatology)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; full-time role with national and international travel.

What you will do

• Define and execute the dermatology Medical Affairs strategy and annual medical plan for Spain.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Spanish Medical Advisors and the MSL Manager for the Immuno-Dermatology field medical team.
• Lead the International Dermatology Medical Hub, coordinating medical collaboration, governance, priorities, and cross-country initiatives.
• Build scientific relationships with experts, societies, healthcare organisations, patient organisations, and other external stakeholders.
• Shape evidence-generation activities, including clinical research collaborations, real-world evidence, investigator-initiated research, publications, and medical education.
• Partner with Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, and other functions while managing governance, budgets, compliance, and operational performance.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or another relevant scientific discipline; MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred.
• Substantial pharmaceutical or biotechnology Medical Affairs experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading and developing office-based and field medical teams.
• Strong dermatology and/or immunology experience, including interpretation and communication of complex scientific and clinical evidence.
• Experience with medical strategy, evidence generation, scientific communication, budgets, external partners, governance, and compliant operations.
• Fluent Spanish and English required; availability for national and international travel.
