Senior Cloud Networking SRE

Location: Colombia or Chile; remote/office work. Technical ownership includes communication during US business hours and critical-incident escalation.

What you will do

• Define cloud networking standards across AWS and GCP, including routing, segmentation, firewalls, NAT, DNS, ingress, egress, and private connectivity.
• Own the technical direction and reliability of VPN and private-access connectivity, including bastion, device-trust, IPAM, and cloud-to-data-center patterns.
• Establish SLOs, monitoring, alerting, runbooks, failure-mode documentation, and escalation paths for critical network services.
• Lead diagnosis, mitigation, and permanent remediation of significant connectivity incidents.
• Develop infrastructure automation with Terraform or OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Python, and Go using safe validation, deployment, and rollback practices.
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform, DevPlat, Systems Engineering, IT, and InfoSec teams while mentoring engineers and documenting architecture decisions.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and operating production cloud networks across AWS and GCP.
• Deep practical knowledge of routing, segmentation, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, bastion access, private connectivity, and cloud-network troubleshooting.
• Strong SRE experience with SLOs, observability, incident response, post-incident remediation, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or OpenTofu and Terragrunt, plus automation with Python, Go, or a comparable language.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, cloud identity technologies, and security practices for cloud infrastructure.
• B2+ English proficiency required for daily communication with the team and a US-based client, including technical ownership during US business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailscale, Headscale, WireGuard, NetBox, or mixed cloud and data-center environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven infrastructure and workflows.
