Experienced Controller (Maternity Leave Cover)

hirify.global develops technology products and operates global entities requiring scalable accounting and financial reporting processes.

What you will do

• Own and oversee global accounting operations across hirify.global’s group entities.
• Lead the monthly financial close process and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Prepare annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate annual external audits and collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate annual tax filings for domestic entities and work with local accounting and tax firms supporting international subsidiaries.
• Improve accounting processes, controls, reporting workflows, and operational efficiency using AI, automation, and NetSuite.

Requirements

• CPA qualification with a Big 4 background and experience in technology or high-tech companies.
• Experience as a Controller or in a similar senior accounting role within a global organization.
• Hands-on experience managing accounting operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience leading consolidation and financial statement preparation in a global environment.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and in-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Experience using AI tools to improve accounting, analysis, reporting, or financial workflows.
