Location: Fully remote, but must reside within the Continental United States (CONUS) and maintain a secure home office with reliable high-speed internet. The role coordinates CAB meetings across multi-region time zones. The listed Niceville, Florida location is associated with the position. An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required at the time of application or hire.
Basic compensation: $125,000–$160,000 annually for Maryland only.

What you will do
- Direct, evaluate, and enforce ITSM change control processes across enterprise systems and distributed defense test infrastructure.
- Schedule, prepare, and chair weekly CAB and urgent ECAB meetings; review RFC risks, dependencies, conflicts, testing evidence, implementation procedures, and rollback plans.
- Maintain the Forward Schedule of Change and identify collisions across operational networks, development environments, and active test events.
- Coordinate Post-Implementation Reviews for high-impact or failed changes and feed root-cause findings into process improvements.
- Administer ServiceNow and Jira Service Management workflows, templates, approval routing, dashboards, queues, SLA metrics, and KPI reporting.
- Integrate Service Desk and Incident Management operations, standardize ticket linkages, and publish SOPs, user guides, and knowledge-base articles.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
- Residence within CONUS required, with a dedicated secure home office and reliable high-speed internet.
- At least 5 years of dedicated ITSM experience focused on formal change control or change management.
- Hands-on experience with IT Service Desk operations, ticket triage, and incident lifecycle management.
- Advanced proficiency with ServiceNow, including Change Management, CMDB configuration tracking, and Incident Management integration.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira Service Management, including service projects, custom workflows, automation rules, and component or release tracking.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field; five additional years of relevant experience may substitute.
- ITIL 4, DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II, ServiceNow, or Atlassian certifications.
- Knowledge of DoD IT environments, DISA STIG requirements, NIST SP 800-53 controls, defense test and evaluation infrastructure, range networks, or HPC environments.
