School Nurse (Tatu International)

Location: Tatu City, Kenya; residence on the school campus is required under the school housing scheme

What you will do

• Provide basic health services, wellness management, psychosocial support, and medication support throughout the school day and night.
• Manage student medical histories, chronic conditions, disabilities, confidential documentation, incident reports, and infirmary records.
• Coordinate with hospital medical staff, clinicians, paramedics, parents, school staff, and procurement colleagues.
• Support evacuation and referrals when students require care beyond the school’s capabilities.
• Maintain infirmary supplies, prepare procurement lists, and develop reporting systems.
• Inspect boarding-house hygiene and support catering efforts to ensure students receive meals, fruits, and vegetables.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Nursing.
• Registered nurse with 3–4 years of professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, flexibility, and conscientiousness skills.
• Ability to train students in basic health practices and standards.
• Willingness to reside on the school campus under the school housing scheme.
