Senior Telco Network Engineer (Telecom)

Location: Banja Luka, Belgrade, Bitola, Chisinau, Kragujevac, Nis, Novi Sad, or Ohrid

What you will do

• Design and develop large-scale service provider and telecommunications networks.
• Support network migrations, complex troubleshooting, and third-line operations.
• Implement network automation and scripting using Python, APIs, and automation concepts.
• Define technical requirements and contribute to RFP/RFQ processes.
• Manage suppliers and communicate with technical stakeholders.
• Work independently while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in service provider or telecommunications networking and large-scale network environments.
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking and architecture, including BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, DHCP, RADIUS, VPN, QoS, Multicast, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper technologies.
• Experience with network design, service development, migration, troubleshooting, and third-line support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Senior-level expertise in IT network administration.

Nice to have

• CCNP, CCIP, CCDP, JNCIP, or equivalent professional-level knowledge.
• Knowledge of VPLS, Metro Ethernet, WiFi, and mobile networking technologies.
