TL;DR
Financial Reporting Analyst (Accounting/IFRS): Preparing financial, regulatory, and management reports and supporting accounting controls for global banking operations with an accent on reconciliations, closing activities, and financial data accuracy. Focus on investigating reporting breaks, maintaining IFRS compliance, and improving finance processes and systems.

What you will do

  • Support product and general ledger accounting, including invoices, accruals, and asset management transactions.
  • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare regulatory, financial, and management reports and dashboards.
  • Perform reconciliations, investigate accounting issues, and resolve reporting breaks.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies, IFRS requirements, and ING reporting standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders on reporting requirements, remediation, process improvements, projects, system enhancements, and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, or financial controls.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
  • Understanding of banking products, financial markets, or lending products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a global multicultural environment.

Nice to have

  • Certified Public Accountant qualification.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in banking or financial services organizations.
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting, UAT testing, or finance-related system enhancements.
