Senior Specialist Software Engineering (Angular/Node.js/AWS)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: €3,200–€4,900 gross per month; stated annual range €39,400–€59,200

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, and support features for the Vector, TREQS, and VALET enterprise applications.
• Build user interface components, REST APIs, database integrations, and backend services.
• Develop SQL queries, database objects, data models, and data integrations.
• Implement cloud-based solutions and integrations using AWS services.
• Create automated and manual tests, troubleshoot defects, support production issues, and participate in root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams through Agile delivery and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, REST APIs, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience developing or supporting applications in AWS or another cloud environment.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, software design principles, application security, software development life cycle methodologies, and Agile practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise business applications, APIs, system integrations, and data exchange processes.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar automated testing tools.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools, automation technologies, microservices, cloud-native development, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, workforce planning, vendor management, financial management, or resource management solutions.
