TL;DR
Solution Architect (Infrastructure) (AI/private cloud): Designing and governing infrastructure solutions for a large-scale private AI cloud platform across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, Kubernetes, and platform services with an accent on scalability, resilience, security, and operational readiness. Focus on creating HLDs and LLDs, sizing high-availability environments, designing disaster recovery capabilities, and coordinating architecture governance through implementation.

What you will do
- Design end-to-end infrastructure and platform architectures for a large-scale private AI cloud platform.
- Produce and maintain high-level designs, low-level designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, secure, and operationally ready solutions.
- Define infrastructure standards, reference architectures, sizing models, capacity plans, and technology selections.
- Review technical designs, implementation plans, and deliverables while supporting governance, design reviews, and change advisory activities.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, Security, and Project teams through implementation, workshops, proofs of concept, and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, including 3+ years as a Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or Technical Lead.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure and private cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization, networking, storage, high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
- Essential technical knowledge of Canonical OpenStack, Canonical Kubernetes, Ubuntu Server/Linux, networking and storage fundamentals, infrastructure architecture, and capacity planning.
- Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ceph, MAAS, Juju, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Loki, Keycloak, Vault, PAM, or SIEM solutions.
- Experience designing AI or NVIDIA GPU infrastructure platforms.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, infrastructure governance, Infrastructure as Code, ISO 27001, or ISO 22301.
- TOGAF, CKA, Linux, Terraform Associate, or cloud architecture certifications.
