Engineering Tech Lead - Brand Experience (Frontend)

What you will do

• Drive technical excellence across the Brand Experience domain, improving stability, performance, code quality, and development efficiency.
• Lead frontend technical design decisions and align implementation with domain architects and engineering teams.
• Research technologies, conduct technical investigations, and develop proofs of concept and documented technical designs.
• Review major changes and pull requests, ensuring technical standards and architectural direction are followed.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering colleagues on new product development and key technical initiatives.
• Coach and mentor engineers, participate in technical interviews, and lead technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background focused on web applications.
• Advanced experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, observable technologies, and preferably RxJS or Signals.
• Experience with agile development, Git-based projects, CI/CD, web component frameworks such as StencilJS, and large-scale frontend applications.
• Expertise in frontend architecture, SDK and component design, modularization, application bundling, unit testing, and backend API integration.
• Experience delivering performant web solutions using SSR, CDNs, caching, and related content-delivery techniques.
• Strong communication, technical review, coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder-presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with custom UI design system frameworks.
• Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for frontend data tracking.
• Knowledge of AI tooling and AIDLC practices, including responsible adoption and review of AI-generated output.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
