Mapping Team Lead (AI)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; hybrid workplace with specific in-office days each month.

Annual base salary: CAD 66,300–94,850.

What you will do

• Lead Building Digitalization team operations, performance analysis, scheduling, handovers, and technical support.
• Improve and standardize data mapping, workflow, QA, automation, and workload management processes.
• Set up and monitor post-mapping data extraction, investigate errors, and monitor site connectivity.
• Deploy Haystack and Brick architectures for building data tagging and perform override testing for BrainBox AI algorithms.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members while managing escalated client and internal issues.
• Collaborate with leadership, Product Management, Development, delivery teams, clients, and vendors on improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in building or mechanical engineering, or a related technical degree; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with building automation systems, HVAC controls, or digital building technologies, including commissioning or field integration.
• Technical leadership experience mentoring integrators and guiding deployment, testing, and project handoff cycles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, system architecture, point naming conventions, building hierarchies, drawings, sequences of operation, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and ownership of complex project challenges.
• French-English bilingualism is required, including full professional proficiency in English for daily written and oral communication.
