Associate Quality Control (Biotech)

Location: US - Rhode Island - West Greenwich; based at the hirify.global Rhode Island site

Salary: $62,571.90–$84,656.10 annually

What you will do

• Support centralized raw-material testing in the wet chemistry laboratory.
• Perform basic wet chemistry identifications and titrations, as well as instrumental analysis of critical material parameters.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation while following safety guidelines, cGMPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate accurate laboratory documentation and review or approve assays, documents, and records.
• Participate in laboratory investigations, continual improvement initiatives, and general laboratory housekeeping.
• Alert management to quality, compliance, supply, and safety risks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of Quality or Operations experience, or an associate degree plus 6 months of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with analytical testing using methods or compendia is preferred.
• Experience with QC analytical systems or quality systems is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based matrix environment and deliver assignments on schedule.
• Ability to work onsite at the hirify.global Rhode Island location.

Nice to have

• Experience leading teams or projects and supporting LEAN or Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Experience auditing and defending processes, procedures, and decisions during regulatory inspections.
• Structured problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
